New head technician at the Sonnblick observatory

The Sonnblick Observatory is pleased to welcome a new colleague to its ranks. After a long, exciting tender, the decision was made in favor of Simon Feigl.

Mr. Feigl originally comes from Steyr and can already look back on a great deal of international experience. After studying technical physics at Graz University of Technology, a stay at the CERN research center in Geneva followed, in parallel with a doctorate at the University of Oslo. A total of 4.5 years, Mr. Feigl researched in Switzerland in the field of experimental particle physics.

At the Sonnblick Observatory, he will be responsible for the head technician's agendas and, above all, for aerosol and particle physics, as well as the cooperation and representation of the Sonnblick in the numerous international measurement networks.

We wish you all the best and look forward to a long, mutual cooperation!
