Global Cryosphere Watch

Aim: “In the frame of GCW, an integrated approach is used to capture the cryosphere and related characteristics of the landscape and the atmospheric boundary layer.” Additional the cryosphere networks WGMS (World Glacier Monitoring Service), with the data portals GTN-G and GTN-P (G=Glacier, P=Permafrost) are important for the Sonnblick Observatory.
