The Observatory

The Sonnblick Observatory boasts both an observatory and a high altitude research station at an altitude of 3.106 meters. We are a unique platform for the implementation of various research projects. Despite our history and steadfast tradition, the Sonnblick Observatory tasks are focused on future-oriented goals as we connect historical longterm time series with the latest technology. Besides longterm measurements, we support field campaigns with specific scientific issues in mind.
